Instructions for Use and Care of Our Kitchen Knives
Thank you very much for your purchase. Please read the following instruction and use with care.
- Wash with a mild dish soap before use.
- Please exercise caution in use, as the blade is extremely sharp. Keep fingers away from the cutting edge.
- Please do not lick the knife under any circumstance.
- Please avoid cutting hard or dense foods such as fish or meat with bones, frozen foods, etc.Cutting such items may cause injury or damage to both the blade and end user.
- Do not cut food directly on tiles or sorting tables.
- When working with acidic foods such as lemons, tomatoes,and onions, please wash and thoroughly dry the blade immediately after use.
- Please do not use the knife when the handle is slippery, as it might be after washing with soap or working with oil or oily foods. Make sure the handle is completely clean and dry before using the knife.
- Do not put heavy items on the knife. This may cause bending chipping,or breakage.
- Please do not put this knife in any dishwasher or heated drying system.
- Please do not place the knife in a microwave oven or a toaster oven. Do not pour hot water on the knife directly. This may cause deformation and damage. Do not use cleansers or bleaches.
- Please do not use chemical cleansers such as paint thinner,benzene, or alcohol.
- Do not heat the blade, as it may ruin the temper and heat treatment of the knife. Avoid putting the knife on or near heat sources. Please do not leave the knife by a heat source, in water, or wet for extended periods of time. This may cause rusting,corrosion, warping, chipping, cracking, or color changes.
- Keep out of reach of small children. (Families with small children should exercise additional caution).
- Do not let small children use the knife unsupervised. If you plan to let a child use the knife, exercise great caution, supervise closely, and take time to teach the child about knife safety, use, and care.
- Please clean the knife with mild dish soap and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth after use.
- We recommend using a whetstone for sharpening the blade when dull
- Please do not use the knife other than for cooking purpose.
